Mission Statement
Jersey SHORE Selects’ mission is to strive to provide the highest quality and professional experience, backed by proven methods in the education of our athletes as well as a positive, social interaction between coach and player. Our goal is to build self confidence and teamwork skills using a positive instructional approach in the programs we offer. Lacrosse is a sport that builds life skills for athletes. Everything we do is done with the goal of making a lasting impression on our players for the future.
Who we ARE and How we DO IT!
- Local High School Coaches, Educators and College Coaches with 20+ years experience training, teaching and mentoring area athletes
- We set effective goals! Caring yet stringent! This is a fine line and one we have mastered over the past 25+ years! We educate our coaches on the value of finding that balance between pushing an athlete to be their best, while still having them enjoy the experience. We talk to the head while respecting the heart!
- We create a team culture! We are local, family oriented, blue collar, hard working grinders!! Our work ethic is how we have become leaders in the lacrosse community for the past 20 years competing with the best clubs in the country.
- We Provide consistent feedback to challenge our players athletically and intellectually to the max and still find a way to ensure they are having FUN!
- We keep an appropriate sense of perception! Being a coach is just one element of who we are. We strive to provide guidance while teaching our athletes how to deal with success as well as failures. Life Lessons!
- We Never stop learning! We are educators of the game!
- We provide proven Player Development! ! Visit our college commit list to see where we have sent over 300 players to date!
